End of New Year break

It is the last day of 9 days new year’s vacation today. Thanks to the calendar, most of companies in Japan except for consumer services take a long year-end and new-year break which started on Saturday two weeks ago to this Sunday.

You will meet your colleagues tomorrow morning and share what you did in the break. It may take whole morning tomorrow. If you don’t have so much things to talk, you may want to ask your friends if they watched Kohaku Utagassen (traditional music fun competition on new year’s eve) or Hakone ekiden (marathon relay among a few dozens of University). If your friends like to watch comedy, you could ask how they enjoyed Down Town’s comedy show Waratteha Ikenai (Sorry, I found only Japanese link).

I need to come back to work tomorrow morning, so should go to bed. Talk to you later.
