Day 13 – Crater Lake NP and Redwood NP

I stopped by Dutch Brothers to get a cup of coffee and then headed Crater Lake NP. Returned same road to Grants Pass and took lunch. Drove into California in the afternoon. Redwood NP is famous for the big trees, redwoods. When I went to Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park in January, 2009, I got to know the longest tree in the world is not sequoia, but redwood. Please see my blog for more details. All pictures of this day are on my Facebook.

The driving route on May 11 was as follows:

The Crater Lake is so beautiful surrounded by its rim and mountains.

Redwood is the tallest tree in the world.

Stay at Motel 6 in Arcata, CA. $55. (No WiFi)
